Last St. Patricks weekend, I had Mushrooms for the second time.
Unlike the first time, these took effect.
For 13 hours to follow, I took the deepest and heaviest journey inward, and i could not, for the life of me, fall asleep.
The only way out was with my tablet.
So I drew several things, amongst them was this.
It wasn’t until recently i decided to start finishing them.
But a whole year is a long time to postpone bringing my demons to light.

This board was handmade for August. He like the natural wood look on the bottom, so I was limited to drawing on the top.
The Koi are cliché, I know, but the method is Awesome. Paint markers and sharpie markers with Gloss enamel paint under two layers of spray grip (glue+glass shards) really top this off well.
